Everyone knows how hard it is to get your entire family together for a picture, let alone keep everyone happy. In my experience, family shoots can be an enjoyable experience if they’re fun. I’ll be the first to say that I absolutely hate having my picture taken, and I know plenty of people who feel the same way. Over the years, I’ve learned the secret to making family sessions less painful; let family be family.
Let’s be honest, kids will never fully behave and there is always that one person (you know who) who just can’t seem to keep their eyes open in any shot. I know that everyone wants to get some posed pictures but by letting the family just spend some time together and be themselves, play together, laugh together, you can capture moments that never would have been possible otherwise.
