I had the privilege of shooting with the Arnold family a couple of weeks ago during the wee hours of the morning. As a father of a one-year-old myself, I was insanely impressed that they were not only able to get everyone up and out of the house, but were able to arrive on time at 7:30am…a feat that I would never even dare to attempt with my daughter. While the field was absolutely soaked from a week worth of rain, we donned our texas boots and braved the elements.
Anyone who knows me can tell you that I am not a fan of posed pictures. I think you miss so much of the small details that make each person unique. So I sent them off to wander the fields as a family…to play, to laugh, to be themselves, and I loved what we came away with.
